Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish and half-English woman was born on the 16th of April 1997 in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychologist. The father of her was Argentine and has Scottish and English roots. Her mother is Spanish as well as English descent. The four siblings of Taylor-Joy are from her father's ex-married partners. The family is originally located in Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria at the age of 6 when Taylor-Joy was born. Taylor-Joy says the move into London was difficult and that she was unable to take the time to learn English in order to prevent returning to Argentina. Hill House became her school preference after she was required to switch schools. After that, she went to Queen's Gate School in London, where she took ballet classes as well as participated in plays. After she turned 16, she quit school to pursue a full-time career in acting. Taylor-Joy was always aware of her desire to be an actor. The opportunity was offered to her chance to try it by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management and was offered an opportunity as a model.
