Kelly Clarkson (American singer/songwriter) is a well-known American after winning American Idol's inaugural season. This win did more than propel her into the limelight and acclaim, but it also earned her a multi-album recording contract together with RCA Records 19 Recordings and S Records. Since her debut her album, she's released several albums. Of those albums three made it to the top of the US Billboard 200. The other albums came close to reaching the top position. She was among America's top performers. In the course of her career, she began experimenting with new themes and styles of music. Often co-writing songs in order to express her thoughts. Her work was praised by critics and numerous important awards for her creativity and vocal talent. The most notable accomplishment is that she won 3 Grammy awards. Alongside her career in music, she has been featured in movies and TV shows. She is also the writer of the children's novel River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as a member of numerous charitable organisations.
